Tomato and Lime Toner

Tomatoes are great for the skin. They treat everything from acne to large pores to rashes and more! They have a cooling element which soothes raw skin, astringents to remove excess oil, and tons of vitamin C and A to brighten dull skin and restore its health.

Lime does similar to your skin as Lemon does. It helps even out your skin tone, helps with getting rid of pesky blemishes. It brightens and whitens, and is overall very good for your skin. As long as you keep it away from your eyes!

Combined, these two will tighten your pores, soften your skin, and make you look vibrant and fresh. Especially if you follow the recipe below.

Ingredients:

1 Tablespoon of fresh Tomato juice

2-4 Drops of Lime juice

You’ll also need a small Mixing Bowl and some Cotton Balls

Steps:

Place altogether in the Mixing Bowl and gently stir together.

Apply the mixture with a Cotton Ball and massage gently into skin using circular motions.

Leave on your skin for about 15 minutes.

Rinse with cool water in order to shrink the pores even further.

Use your regular moisturizer.

I had forgotten to mention with my last cucumber mask that they can help relax your tired eyes.

A couple of slices of cucumbers placed on to of the lids reduces the swelling and bags. This remedy can also be used to cure conjunctivitis, and to help prevent cataracts!

Below is another type of cucumber mask, this one to help with oily skin.

2 Small Cucumbers

1 Cup of Milk Cream

1 Teaspoon of Honey

1 Teaspoon of Mud

You’ll also need a Blender and a Lemon.

Slice the cucumbers, unpeeled.

Place all the ingredients together in a blender and mix until it makes a smooth paste.

Cool for 30 minutes in the refrigerator.

Keep on for 1 Hour.

Rinse off with Milk Cream, and allow your face to air dry for the most part. Afterwards feel free to rinse again with cool water and then apply your favorite moisturizer.

Cucumber Mask - 1

Cucumbers are always so refreshing. Just thinking about them quenches my thirst.

We all know of the classic skin care use for a cucumber is to place slices over your eyes to help with the dark circles.

There is a reason for that!

Cucumbers, because of their wealth in water, vitamin E and natural fats, are one of the best remedies for the external care of skin. They contribute with all their fats and water to soften and hydrate your epidermis. They return all the freshness and texture that your skin has been losing as a consequences of the environmental aggressions caused by the action of free radicals.

Being chalk full of antioxidants, they are wonderful for skin that’s suffered the consequences of a prolonged exposure to the sun, or in case of frostbite. They can help with skin types suffering from blemishes, oily skin, dermatitis, rosacea, seborrheic dermatitis, or fire burns.

Cucumbers can also help fight against acne. The use of these fruits can even out the skin tone, and reduce the appearance of wrinkles better than any expensive creams that’re on the market.

Below is only one of the many cucumber masks that I’m aware of.

Ingredients:

1 Small Cucumber

1 Cup of Oatmeal

1 Teaspoon Yogurt (IF you have oily skin) OR 1 Teaspoon Milk (IF you have dry skin)

You’ll also need a Blender.

Steps:

Blend the cucumber until it has a smooth consistency.

Mix the Cup of Oatmeal with the Cucumber until it forms a paste.

Mix ONE TEASPOON of paste with the one teaspoon of Yogurt OR milk.

Put evenly onto face.

Leave on for 30 minutes.

Rinse with cool water, and put on moisturizer.

**The Oatmeal/ Cucumber combo can be left in a container in your pantry for a few days. Do NOT refrigerate.

Strawberry Mask

To be honest, I love strawberries. I love just about anything strawberry flavored, and just thinking about them makes me mouth water and makes me want to crave it!

You're probably asking "Why strawberries?" Well, there's a reason! They create a natural exfoliation. A strawberries gentle acidic nature can take care of all those flaky dead cells which rest on top of the skin. Its salicylic acid is a good combatant for acne and black heads.

It also has antiseptic and skin lightening prosperities. Plus, it has all these wonderful vitamins and antioxidants. And folic acid, which is essential for healthy new cells, doesn't all that just sound wonderful?

Sour cream is great to use when you want to even out the skin tone. It can help make your skin smoother, or get rid of pesky blotches. It also helps with bloating of the face. And it adds moisture to your skin.

Ingredients:

1/4 Cup of FRESH strawberries (NOT frozen)

1/4 Cup of sour cream, OR non-flavored yogurt

Steps:

Mash together the strawberries and yogurt or sour cream until it makes a smooth cram.

Spread evenly on your face and leave one for 10 - 15 minutes.

Rinse with cool water and apply your favorite moisturizer.

**THIS MASK IS MEANT FOR NORMAL TO DRY SKIN TYPES

Now I'm seriously in the mood for some strawberry boba! Lol.
