Banana Mask

Honestly, when I think of banana's, I think of these guys:
I'm guessing no one else remembers that. Times like these, I feel old lol.

Onwards we go.

Overall, this fruit is great for your health, here are six things that they do for your body:

1) Banana's are an energy booster.
2) They contain tryptophan (a type of protein that the body converts into serotonin, which is a hormone that is known to make you feel happy and improve your mood).
3) They're a rich source of iron, thus it is helpful in cases of anemia.
4) They're a good source of potassium.
5) The skin of a banana is said to remove warts!
6) And, they're good for people who have high blood pressure because of their low salt.

Banana's are also helpful in the following causes: stomach ulcers, colitis, digestive disorder, diarrhea, constipation, and hemorrhoids.

Laugh all you want, but they're a great go-to, and helpful, fruit.

So, you're probably wondering, what exactly can they do for your skin?

Ingredients:

2 Medium Bananas
       They're a moisturizer for dry skin, and leave it softer with hydrating action. They help exfoliate the skin by removing dead skin cells and leaving you with a fresh look. Since they help hydrate oily skin, they also combat acne and shield the skin from loss of moisture. Bananas also provide anti-aging benefits, keeping your skin looking young and fresh.

(OPTIONAL) 2 Tablespoons Honey
       If you've been following my blog, you know exactly what honey can do for you.

You'll also need a Fork, and a Mixing Bowl.


Steps:

Mash the bananas with a fork; don't over mash or it will become too runny.

Add honey and mix all together.

Smooth evenly over skin for 10 minutes. Rinse off with cool water.

Apply regular moisturizer.


**This mask is wonderful for people who suffer from dry skin.

** If you'd like, you can keep this in a jar in the fridge for about a week or so. I recommend using this mask, at most, twice a week as part of your normal skin regimen.
